JAMB has commenced the accreditation of Computer-Based Test centres for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination. The JAMB’s Public Communication Adviser, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday. He noted that the accreditation process is a crucial step in preparation for the annual examination.
All new CBT centres interested in participating in the 2025 UTME are advised to review the official requirements outlined below.
After reviewing the requirements, these centres should notify the Board in writing of their intention to participate in the accreditation exercise. This notification should be addressed to the Registrar of JAMB through the Zonal Director or State Coordinator in their respective states.”
Benjamin stated that established centres that were successfully accredited and participated in the 2024 UTME without any issues are required to register their interest via the Centre Management System Portal. For new centres, the Zonal and State Offices of JAMB will create accounts for them on the CMS Portal to facilitate their registration.
All centres must conduct an Autobot/Autotest on a date that will be communicated to them as part of their preparation for the physical accreditation visit by the Board’s team. According to JAMB, the Autobot/Autotest is mandatory, and only centres that successfully complete the test and meet the Board’s criteria will proceed to the next stage of accreditation.
The physical accreditation exercise is scheduled to begin in December 2024, with only qualifying centres receiving notifications regarding the dates.
With this announcement, the JAMB 2025 UTME registration is set to commence soon.
