UNILORIN gets new vice-chancellor

Professor Wahab Egbewole has been appointed as the new vice-chancellor of the University of Ilorin following a rigorous screening process involving 13 professors.

Wahab was announced as the new vice chancellor by the Chairman of the University governing council, Mallam Abidu Yasid, at a press briefing held at the Council chamber of the University on Thursday evening, September 8, 2022

He will take over from the incumbent and the 11th vice-chancellor of the university, Prof Sulyman Age AbdulKareem, whose tenure will end on October 15, 2022.

Wahab is a Professor of International Law and Jurisprudence and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria.
