400-level FUNAI student elected national education students’ president

A 400 level student of Guidance and Counseling, Faculty of Education, Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike Ebonyi State, Ekemini David Abasi Nse has been elected the National President of Education Students’ Association of Nigeria (ESAN).

Ekemini who is the Chairman of the FUNAI Debating Society emerged the winner after defeating two other candidates with 48.1% of the total votes cast, in an online election that was held on 19th March 2022.

ESAN is a students’ organization in the Nigerian tertiary education system, comprising students of Faculties of Education in federal, state, and private universities, and Colleges of Education.
